Although my comic work has eased onto the back burner in favour of more fine art, here is a collection of the comics I have completed in the past few years, most of them are published by Underfire comics.

I am currently working on an autobiographical story about my teenage years which will be out and available to buy at the Thought Bubble comics convention on November 21st-to be held in Leeds.
Click on the thumbnails to open the whole stories in another window. NB-you'll need to enable pop ups to view the work.

My most recently published piece of work is a collection of all my Short Stories-entitled Cold Sweat Day Dreams-it is available in full pdf format if you click the picture below.

If you want to buy a copy then paypal me £6.50 to c.ridley3@ntlworld.com
I'll even put a depraved sketch in the front cover-there are only 12 copies left now out of a print run of 50 and I'm not planning on reprinting.

Poetry, prose, comics, illustration, an experimental piece combining these to tell a 1 page short story.

What happens when you live in a scummy seaside town, have a drinking problem and try to hold down a job as a Punch and Judy man...its not a great combination.Written by Oli Bailey and drawn by me.

My first 24 hour comic, about my days at a boarding school as a child.
Written and drawn by me.

A horror story about a man who meets a mysterious stranger on a darkened path.
Written and drawn by me.

An allegorical story about how birds and people and scientists interact in a wrecked world, written by Dan Cox and drawn by me.

All for now.

Fear itself is a great story about the dangers of looking too hard for answers, written by Christian Read and illustrated by me(Jonathan Ridley)

A Brief History of... is a short and silly story about electricity, i may do some more Brief Histories in the future..although I probably wont:-)

All for now is my first professionally published piece written by Scott O Brown and illustrated by me.

PART 1

PART 2
The Job was my first crack at doing a proper webcomic, it is a bit disjointed at times, in story and in colouring technique, but I am still very proud of it.(It is unfinished and will remain so)

Having a black belt in procrastination takes a hell of a lot of hard work, here's a selection of work that started but didnt finish, still, some of it looks good and i might end up finishing it one day!
